Ear Pain

i get a sharp shooting pain behind my left ear that goes from the base of my ear all the way around to the top. Hurts even more when cold or even a breeze hits my ear. any suggestions on what would cause this

I get something like this except it start in my inner ear,left side,Ive been to doc so many time no infection.I now take it as my tell for migraine,if im going out I cover ear,put cotton wool in it to try cut down risk.It does let me know migraine on way and I can take precautions to ease it or prevent it reaching peak,hopethis helps a bit,Dedra

It could be signs of a ear infection. That’s how mine usually start.

It could also be signs of a tooth infection/abscess.

And some people, I’ve had it happen a few times.. it could be a sign of a oncoming migraine.

You need to check you dont have an infection,inner or outer one,or is it coming from tooth or jaw?Ive spent ages at dentist making sure it wasnt.I find heat or my partner rubbing around ear around works with pain

I have had ear pain for months and didn't find out that it was related to migraines. What will help with the ear pain?
