anyone got any advice for things that are not meds that help some
I bought a cooling pillow that helps some. Since I'm not sure what you've tried here's a few of my tricks: aroma therapy; Gatorade (Powerade,Pedialyte) for hydration and nutrients, relaxing sounds, low light, ice packs, heating pad, tens unit(shoulders area), head massage if you can stand it; sleep f you can, food if nausea not present. Sunglasses if I need to inside or out. Breathing/meditation exercises to help you through the pain. If you tried all that: ER is my suggestion as much as you may not want to go.
I always try ice on forehead and eyes with ice pack on back of neck. I like to use calming sound apps too
I have a medical marijuana card since my Migraines are intractable. Does not completely take the pain away but it can cushion the blow. Just not always reliable, have taken it before and my head pain got worse. I have also tried what Tonya has posted, which are great ideas
been looking into them do they work?
