Does Anyone Else Have Problems With Light Sensitivity To Headlights?
As the days get shorter night driving or even being a passenger in car the oncoming headlights trigger a terrible migraine. I have bought glasses that are supposed to reduce the glare but they don't help much. I find that as the days get shorter by life gets smaller.
Why not polarized?
I was having so mud trouble w that, I finally went to c my eye doctor. Now this was just my case. I had caterrac surgery 4 yrs prior. My doctor didn't tell me I had cataracts behind my cataracts. Her removed the second ones & I can drive @ night now.
The on commingling lights really hurt my eyes. If I don’t cover my eyes I will get a migraine.
I find it difficult to drive in the dark, because the glare is so bright. It doesn't immediately bring on a migraine though.
I asked my neurologist about this and he said make sure you have a good pair of sunglasses and that they are not polarized. I recently bought a very expensive pair of prescription sunglasses but they were polarized. I went back to my eye dr. And they made me new lenses without the polarized for free. They are not as dark but they don’t give me a migraine!😊
