Is Anyone Else Prescribed Butalbital And Or Amitriptyline For Their Headaches?

Exactly. And it was decades ago, Didn't work then either. Bad side effects. And habit forming.💜

Yes I have been on them in the past and they didn't work for me either .

I'm taking 20 mg amitriptyline and 50 mg Topiramate at night to prevent chronic migraines. I finally have had 3 days migraine-free for the first time in 4 months on this combination.
There's butalbital in the Fioricet I've taken as a rescue med for years, but lately I've felt 650 mg acetaminophen works better than the Fioricet.
