I take Wellbutrin, first generation to Chantix to quit smoking i used years ago. But it is a small does antianxiety and antidepressant with the side effect of making smoking sickening, but i do well with it. Also Klonopin for Anxiety, traumatic few years. Lamgidole low dose helps a lot, especially with Tension/TMJ migraines and balance things out, its a mood stabilizer but off label for Tension Migraines. I get 3 types of migraines. For Cluster and Regular I have found near remission with Amovig shots you give yourself and Ubrevely at the first sign of one coming.

I can live a normal life after 10 years.

Amovig shots are expensive. But if you have regular medical insurance you can use Amovig Access card and your Co-Pay 0$-5$ a month for 2 years until covered, and even if denied. The shot is easy to give yourself. Same with ubrevely.

I noticed that a small dose of Ativan has helped me at times, however, I try not to take it too often.

It seems once I am on a hypomanic/anxiety cycle of my bipolar disorder, the longer I need to take Ativan, the worse the side effects become. It is also easy for the brain to get habituated to it and then have rebound anxiety and the need for a higher dose. I get into trouble after taking it regularly for a week.

My step-mother takes benzos for sleep and she got really nearly psychotic on the stuff during a stressful time. She's tried to cut down, but I think her brain is a bit addicted to them by now. She seems to always go back to them. She doesn't seem as stable mentally as she once was.

Generally, it is not a drug that most doctors suggest taking on a regular basis, though maybe some patients do without any issues. I've heard people talk about needing it daily to deal with panic attacks.

I am on Nortryptaline 10 mg. (an antidepressant) for migraine prevention. It is helping somewhat, but starting to have breakthrough issues on it. Will probably need a higher dose.

I would talk to your doctor about it though. I think taking one here and there when highly anxious, also happened to cut down the migraine. I just can't get into taking them day after day or large problems arise in my brain function.
