What Information Would You Give Someone When It Comes To Pregnancy And Migraines?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

So this may be getting a little personal...My husband and I have been talking about having a baby. Right now, it's being postponed until after I have my TMJ surgery, which I meet my surgeon this month. (so nervous) but anyways, any advice on pregnancy and migraines? How to cope, has pregnancy made yours worse? better? Anything would be greatly appreciated, I know that everyone is different, but I would love to hear from people who understand what I'm going through daily.

How Much Does The Weather Play A Role With Your Migraine
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. Weather migraines are really bad, anybody else have them? In sure lots of us do. Anyone know how to avoid or cope… read more

Does Anyone Have Experience Taking Low-dose Neurontin For Migraine Prevention?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I took low-dose Neurontin (100 mg) at night for about 20 years for nerve pain not related to migraine. I had infrequent migraines before and during those years with neurontin
I stopped taking the Neurontin about three years ago
About a year after stopping the Neurontin, my migraines went from my having 1-4 short episodes a YEAR to having 5 to 15 of migraine days a MONTH. It’s now been 2-3 years of severe chronic migraines.
I read an article about Neurontin recently as a preventative for… read more

Barometric Pressure....how Does It Affect You And Is There Anything You Can Do To Avoid Them?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

My migraines are definitely triggered by the barometric pressure going down. It doesn't seem to bother me when it rises. I live in the Calgary, Alberta, Canada region and we have the worst BP changes in the country. Used to love the Chinooks over the mountains as it brings warmer weather but now that I have migraines, I dread them.

I get one almost every time the B. Pressure changes. If I take a ubrelvy as soon as I get the first sign of a migraine I can avoid severe pain. Just have the "dull" pain/pressure
