Does Anyone Have Migraine With New Daily Persistent Headache?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had a headache for 3 years/3 months every day, all day. Sometimes I have an aura, but it is not a classic migraine...no problems with light or loud noise, no vomiting. It is debilitating and doctors cannot figure it out.

I don't think they are psychological but medical and for me I found drinking more water has helped

Yes!!! I’ve recently just noticed that it’s everyday I’m waking up with horrible headaches that start at the back of my head.

I have daily headaches with varying degrees.I have vertigo too everyday, worse when it is raining or even extreme temperatures. I'm sensitve to lights too but at least I'm saving electricity. Thats just putting humor to it. It is a terrible disease, you are very limited to a lot of things.

I'm a little late with this comment, but I discovered something during the pandemic and thought I'd share it for what it is worth. My headaches usually start at the back of my head, or in my neck, then move around my head to the left side and become a full-on migraine. The back of my head is always sore and painful. At the height of the pandemic when we couldn't get to the hairdressers, my son was shaving my husband's head and jokingly asked if I wanted him to shave mine. At first, I thought he was crazy. But, I started thinking, "Who's going to see me, it's a pandemic!" So I let him do it. It took a bit to get used to, but not long. I had cancer 23 years ago, so being bald wasn't strange to me. But the huge shocker was that it helped the migraines. The back of my head no longer hurt!! As the hair began to grow out, so did the pain. I let him cut it again, and the pain left. The upshot is that I have kept it shaved ever since. Do I look good? NO! Does it feel good? YES! So the last time I saw Dr. Ready I asked him if he ever wondered what caused me to shave my head. I don't think he wanted to answer that question. But I told him my reason and he was kinda gobsmacked. He said he'd never heard that one. Sometimes, like this coming Saturday, I get a little embarrassed that I have done this. But most of the time I really don't care. It doesn't bother me to go out in public. But, this Saturday my youngest child's fiancee is having a bridal shower at a very nice restaurant in San Antonio. I have to get dressed up. They will be getting married in Costa Rica and we will be unable to travel there. So this is it for us. NOW I am feeling self-conscience about my bald head!! lol
