Anyone Taking Memantine?

My insurance company is blocking me from getting Emgality and after approving my Ubrelvy since November, is now denying it. The Botox is not working anymore. So now my neurologist is saying that we are running out of options, but has put in a prescription for Memantine 5mg BID. Is anyone else on this? Has it helped?

I thought Mematine was for memory?? My mom takes that she has dementia.
