Does anyone else have Marijuana as a migraine trigger? I live in a state where its legal to use for recreational purposes and medical. I was never big on it but my bestie uses it for headaches, to help her eat, remedy aches. So ive tried it twice, once smoking it and the next time as an edible. Both resulted in a migraine within an hour. I was really hoping it might have been helpful. Anyone else have this as a trigger?
I didn't know it was a trigger. I use it medically when I'm in a lot of pain from other things and the TCH helps with the intense nausea from migraines. Maybe I will give it a pass for a while and see if not using it has any effect on the migraines. But really I don't think so because I have never gotten a migraine or headache from using it when I'm not in a migraine spell.
CBD oil helped me for a while. But any of the THC would cause really bad headaches but no migraines.
