In the old days, the ER would give you something for your naseas and a shot of an Opiate, like Morphine, and off we'd go, Migraine gone. I was lucky, of I got there fast enough, a couple percocet taken orally would kill my Migraines, or if they were Fast Tracking me, a prescription for 4 Vicodin and something for my stomach, off with my Migraine. Now, Wyeth the more shrugged SEA Guidelines, that is no money accepted, now my local ER ONLY uses TORADOL.I am one of the unlucky few that it gives back spasms to. So since that medication is there standard, they refuse to give any other, and also refuse to believe that ANYONE experiences these rare side effects. Hey, if there are weird, bizzare side effects, I'll get them.

I have had it for migraines sometimes it helps sometimes not at all.

If uve tried everything else & nothing touches that pain..ud take it...thats my position...I would have no quality of life if it wazebt for the morphine...

I was told by a neurologist that morphine is the worst thing to take for a migraine headache it does not help at all, it makes it worse

I have in the past , just ended up with rebound headaches
