Taking Topiramate 200 milligram twice a day for another health issue but have been taking it for quite a few years. No side effects with this low dosage and the dosage will not be increased as I am medication sensitive. Never really noticed any change to migraines when this medication is taken to be honest.

I’ve been on it for 5 years, 50 mg 2 x a day. I didn’t experience any notable side effects besides losing 5 lbs. it reduced the number of my headaches a little bit.

It didnt seem to help my migraines, and a side effect is short term memory loss. And everyone i know who has taken it( including myself) experienced that. It was awful! This was several years ago when i didnt seem to have so much brain fog. I remembered everything! As soon as i started it, within weeks i would walk in a room and just stand there clueless as to why i was there! It was like the thought was always there i just couldnt reach it, if that makes sense.
