It's only been 4 months, but emgality and botox are helping me soo much..except they both wear off and for about 2 weeks before I get my Botox again, they come back with a vengeance. But, not having one for even 24 hrs is heaven to me. Good luck!

I had about 4 sessions of Botox. It was awful. I started to feel worse and worse from it. And here's food for thought: No one ever talks about the possibility of the horrible effects that can happen with Botox. Why not? I had a friend end up with a traumatic experience with it, that burned his nervous system up. He's now in the process of trying to get disability. He went from being active and vivacious and a drummer in a band to this... shell of a man who is housebound.

Hi Dianne, the Botox Shots procedure is a course of 31 shots that are administered across the forehead, over the top of each ear, across the back your head across your hairline, down each side of your neck and lastly a couple of shots across the top of each shoulder… For me the one’s across my forehead are the worst part of the procedure… once I get past that it’s not too bad… the procedure is done in my Neurologist’s office (My Migraine Doctor)… I hope this helps…
