I wake up every morning with a migraine. I'm ALWAYS Dizzy and with blurry eyes. I have had this migraine for 48 days now with no relief with severity from 8-10. NOTHING is working. Went to the ER 2x's within this time frame got it down to a 5 the 1st time with a cocktail of zofran, benadryl, Dilaudid, (hydromrophorm )
and decadron, (steroid) fluids, and magnesium all IV. lasted 71/2 hours right back up to an 8.i did managed to get some sleep. Was very drowsy. 2nd time they repeated the same thing with given a 2nd dose of the Dilaudid and benadryl before it broke 💔 to only last 12 hours and right back again. My Dr. Called me on Friday said I was approved for the DHE infusion and they have it at the hospital for me. So I'll be admitted Thursday for that. Please guys pray for me that it 🙏 works. I can't take this pain anymore. After this I'm not sure what to do. I'm at a loss. I just started my botox again and my 1st round of yvepetti. However until I break the MOH (medication overuse headache) nothing is going to work. That's what the DHE is supposed to help with. Sorry for the long post, but I'm in hopes that I can help someone else.

Hi Rita, I'm sorry to hear you have experienced this too and at one point every morning! Yikes! I'm kinda feeling like you this morning. My vision is better but I'm careful how I turn my head. I also got weird feeling in my eyes....kind of like they didn't want to stay open...heavy. I have dry eye which doesn't help first thing in the morning! Right now, I have low to no noise, lights down, blinds drawn. Popped Advil early and it helped. I'll have to let my neurologist know. I see him Friday I think. I new migraine...yay.

Yes, this use to be an everyday thing for me. Now it doesn’t happen as often as it did. Now I have vestibular migraines like this morning I started getting out of bed but I felt weird kind of dizziness or light headed, then the pain hits and the room was spinning and my dogs barking. Not a good way to wake up. I feel like I’m on some kind of high and all I’ve had this morning is my usual IBS medication, and cymbalta with my coffee. I’m still feeling this way a bit…sort of dizzy or foggy? Just not quite right. Feeling in my eyes reminds me of when you go to the eye dr and they numb your eyes that full feeling and pressure in the eyes are bad. I don’t know why this occurs but dr told me once that this is how the vestibular migraines start. He then said your migraines are changing so now that you are having vestibular migraines we have to add that to your record. He said I can’t drive while like this. Boy do I hate when my day starts like this. I hate feeling drunk…dizzy or whatever you want to call it.
