I haven't posted in a while, but I have been lurking. Lol. I have a new visual aura. In addition to the normal "sparkles" before the pain ramps up, I am now getting "eye exams". You know how a doctor will shine a light from the side while you look straight ahead & you can start to see it from your peripheral? It's like that. The light never comes to the center of my vision & it's usually only one eye at a time. Has anyone had anything similar

What do u do when all you have access to is nurse.practioners, and they don't really listen.. I have been passed around several times in three years and really no relief
I wrote you a long reply describing all the many changes my migraine has taken over the 63 years I've lived with them, but it disappeared. So rather than retype it again, here it is in a nutshell. Migraines and the auras change. Sometimes in a big scary way, sometimes subtle. There's nothing we can do to stop it. As long as you keep your doctor informed, it is the best thing you can do. I went from tiny twinkle lights to blinding yellow light that wiped out my vision in a split second. Plus, a bunch ofvother strange opticals. My doctor showed no concerns. But when ice pick headaches started up constantly, they did an MRI. No changes were noted. Just the white lesions like usual. So don't worry. Let your doctor do the worrying for you, and if you trust him, trust his judgment. Good luck!
