Does anyone take any kind of medication to help with the barometric pressure migraines. I don't know what to do. I'm in a 3-day major one right now due to storms high winds and more to come for the next couple of days. I have been taking amitriptyline for 20 years 30 mg and have been relatively good until the weather starts to get messy! Very very tired of feeling crummy. Hugs to all of you who suffer from this Beast😘❤️
I agree.. Barometric changes give me a Migraine.
I've had migraines over 30 years but recently is every day. I'm 74 now and I think weather is a huge contributor to them now. I could usually go outside and work them off . Not any more . I have been going to a wonderful chiropractor that has really helped unfortunately insurance only covers 12 visits. So 2 excedrin 2 imitrex and lay down in a dark quiet place cold wash cloth on your forehead and of course mentholatum under nose!!!
I'm in Michigan. My allergies flared up with molds and cold rainy days. Like hot humid days in summer. My migraines aren't always about the headaches. But run down and nausea. I think we have to rest more try caffeine and light exercises. Like walking. Exercise can trigger migraine and nausea but also produces happy hormones in our brains. And helps our immune system.
I get a worse migraine when the weather changes. I get my migraine stuff together and use whatever it takes.
