I had my first round on December 30th. I have found it to be an effective component with my Aimovig and Propranolol. No migraines since.
I receive treatment every 3 months, and have found that it is a very effective component of my regimen. I also use Ajovy and Nurtec. The combination has reduced my migraines from daily to 1 - 2 a week, which I feel isn't too shabby. Good luck.
The first neurologist that treated me injected me with Botox. He had me come back a month later. I had the same number of migrianes within that a month, so he said it didn't work. Now, I am on my 3rd neurologist. This neurologist wants to try it again.
I've been taking the Botox every 3 months; it has dropped my migraine count from 28 a month to 15 so I made a good progress with it. Still using it because the medication works quite well. Ajovy injections were added on monthly as I needed a boost and Botox wasn't enough. After we did the addition, migraine number dropped again so we're making progress.
Wow, BrentAdams! That’s great!
