I have found that orange juice triggers migraines. I don't drink it anymore.
Food triggers can be different for everyone. Try to recall what you ate or drank prior to the migraine. See if eliminating or replacing those makes a difference.

There's no single diet that works for everyone with migraines, but certain foods are commonly reported as triggers. About 20% of people with migraines are considered food-sensitive, so it's worth paying attention to patterns.
Here are some of the most commonly reported food triggers:
- Aged or fermented foods — aged cheese, sauerkraut, miso, tempeh, soy sauce
- Processed or cured meats — bacon, salami, pepperoni, sausage (often contain nitrates)
- Alcohol — especially red wine and dark liquors; vodka tends to be better tolerated
- Caffeine — in large amounts or if consumed inconsistently
- Chocolate
- Citrus fruits
- Artificial sweeteners — like aspartame
- MSG and other additives — found in many processed and restaurant foods
- High-fat foods
- Nuts and nut butters Beyond specific foods, skipping meals or fasting can also trigger migraines for up to 44% of people. Try to eat on a regular schedule and keep a healthy snack handy.
One MyMigraineTeam member shared that after switching to an all-natural, unprocessed diet, they went from daily migraines to being almost migraine-free within two weeks.
The best approach is to keep a food and symptom diary to identify *your* personal triggers, ideally with guidance from a doctor or dietitian before making big changes.
