I live by the Gulf coast and the weather shifts and storms have been relentless. It feels like I never get a break for a period of time. I feel now that starting from my back to my neck that my body is sending little electrical impulses making it feel like a buzzing. Is this weird or common.

That buzzing, electrical feeling is not as strange as it might seem — and living on the Gulf Coast with constant weather shifts is a real challenge for migraine sufferers. Weather changes are a well-known migraine trigger, so it makes sense that the relentless storms are keeping your nervous system on edge.

The sensation you're describing — electrical impulses or buzzing moving through the body — can be related to migraine aura. Aura symptoms can include tingling, numbness, or pins-and-needles sensations that spread gradually through the body, sometimes starting in one area and moving upward. That said, it's really important to pay attention to how these sensations feel and whether they're new or different from your usual migraine pattern. Some warning signs that need prompt medical attention include:

- Sudden, unexplained numbness or buzzing
- Confusion or trouble speaking
- Weakness on one side of your body
- Symptoms that feel different from your usual migraine experience

If this buzzing feeling is new or feels unusual compared to your normal migraines, it's worth reaching out to your doctor to rule out anything more serious. Better safe than sorry — especially when your nervous system is basically doing its own storm impression! 🌩️
