You could have been talking about me. I also take sumitripsn & excepting. My headaches come in a cycle. I often wake up with one.
If you take migraine medication do you sometimes feel like it wears off? I'm on several and they all seem to help for a time and then wear off.
@A MyMigraineTeam Member I hear you as feel the same way with my migraines
I tried the between thumb, the feet pressure points, the squeezing your nose, the squeezing the bridge of your nose and all of that. For 2 days I had tears out of one eye. Left side. Light sensitivity, noise sensitivity, all of that jazz. BC powders, Goody Headache powders, Topamax, Maxalt, did not help. Any ideas?
I am heading out to buy salty Lays as soon as the sun comes up
Hello.
I am thinking about getting a daith piercing for chronic migraines. I have used just about everything all over the years. I currently take propranolol, but it seems to becoming less effective and I frequently get breakthrough migraines lasting for days.
I see a lot of people say that this pierce is very painful, just wondered if it is more painful than a helix pierce or a navel pierce, which I have had previously?
Thanks in advance. Cate
The initial piercing hurts but after that, your fine
Hello all. I am new to this page and newly diagnosised with migraines. My neurologist has tried me on a couple of different medications with none working so far. Topamax made me lose weight and cymbalta makes me sick. Neurologist said next thing to try is Depakote. Was wondering if anyone has had any success on this medication. Thank you in advance.
I have been on Depakote for a number of years. I found it made me a bit drowsy by the end of the day, but when I try to get off of it I get more migraines. Hope that's helpful.
I'm looking to correspond with someone experiencing bad barometric migraines triggered by humidity and bad weather.. Preferably that person will live in an area greatly affected by rain and humidity, such as I who lives in Long Island New York which is completely surrounded by water. Have had chronic barometric migraines for about 5 years now. Known triggers to date are high humidity usually above 50%, high barometric pressure associated with oncoming and upcoming storms. Symptoms can start up… read more
I live beside a river. So know what you are dealing with. Mostly I just hide out in a blackout room with no noise and sleep till it's all over. No meds I take seems to help.😢
Does anyone get Botox for migraines?
does it work for Barometric Pressure trigger migraine?
Does insurance cover?
Hi. Bose is the brand I have. I got them as a Christmas gift one year and they are fantastic and comfortable to wear.
Anyone else have luck BeKooool Soft Gel Sheets? Tamed my migraine last night. That plus 2 tabs of advil. Had a small cup of coffee with dinner. Might have been the cause. Anyway, it really helped.
You're welcome. Tried them the other night. Had a migraine that started around 12:30 AM. They really helped me.
