chronic migraines and he left without notice or refills! Received ONE box at Urgent Care but they cannot refill, HELP WITH ANY IDEAS....most drs. are 6 months out for app. or aren't taking new patients

What is the average length of a migraine for you guys with or without medication? One hour or several days?

How does this differ from Sumatriptan?

I’m having trouble getting my insurance to cover Emgality and my neuro says that Aimovig might be easier to get through for some reason. However, I’m rather concerned about the severe constipation side effect that has caused some patients to need surgery as that has been an issue I’ve had my whole life. How have you guys combatted that side effect? Any info you think would be useful would be much appreciated! TIA! 😊

I have read comments about migraine scales being different for everyone. I agree with that. Which left me wondering, with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest, pain level and incapacitation. What do you consider a “average” or tolerable number on the scale? For me, at 1-3 I feel like I could throw a party, in my head😉. 3-4 is normal tolerable, allowing me to still function. 5-6 I feel anxious, cautious and usually take medication. 7-8 I’m seeking dark, quiet and bring nausea medication on… read more

I have heard a lot of the daith piercing. I was wondering if anyone has done it. Did it work for you? How long did it take before it work? Need pro and con's about this kind of piercing before I do it.

Recently I got news that I'm considered a glaucoma suspect and with some of the symptoms from my migraines there is a good chance I already have little optic nerve damage. Will be doing more testing in the near future to find out more about this. Anyone else out there heard of this?
