Hi, this is my first post here and was wondering if anyone could share some experiences with botox please? Has anyone experienced botox injections making migraine worse? I had 2nd session 4th Dec, its spiked migraine, eased after approx 2wks. Now they back worse. I've been on Ajovy monthly injections and I had a life, now this last month I can hardly move, sleep, eat etc. Just wondering could it be the botox?

I had a nerve block last year and it made my migraines worse. Now I'm supposed to be starting Botox but I'm nervous I'll have the same reaction. Has anyone had a nerve block fail but success with Botox? Any help would be appreciated!

I am trying to decide if I want to try the piercing or Botox. If it is for migraines will insurance pay for Botox? My friend got Botox for wrinkles she told me the price I said OUCH LOL. I did the shots, burn nerves, meds. I finally told the Dr to do an MRI on my neck not just my brain. ‘I just joined this group about a week ago so I am still trying to figure it out in the meantime. Today I had a follow-up with my Nero doctor and he suggested going the Botox route. I was wondering who all here has done it, and if so do you think it helped?

Hi. I FINALLY got approved to start my migraine treatments & as soon as my card comes in Im going in. I'm lucky to have finally found a migraine specialist/neurologist who understands, listens, & works with & for me. She calls Botox the gold standard. How could this be? My last attempt for relief was neck surgery 4 weeks ago. Neck great; headache worse. I just don't know what else to do. I have tried every treatment available including 6 blood patches in my spine, 4 spinal taps, Botox, every migraine medicine available, infusions, nerve blocks. On and on and on.
