What do you guys know about triptan overuse headaches?
I just learned of them from a nurse at my neurologist’s office. This had never been mentioned before by my neurologist and he prescribes me 30 rizatriptans per month and 7 frovatriptans per month, which covers my 20 migraines (if they decide to work). I was taken off topomax 3 weeks ago when i got botox and was given samples of qulipta. Now its been a week without any medicine and i had my 2 migraines. But that is usual. I am sick of medicine and the side effects. Acid reflux and stomach aches. Anyone just listen to their bodies instead of the doctor?
