If I over work neck/shoulder muscles I'm in for a bad migraine. I need to build strength in my shoulders but how can I when it brings on a migraine?
Try light physical therapy stretches. Just go slowly on increasing tension or weight... Start super light
I just started and enjoy it very much , it keeps the stress off my shoulders and loosen the up so I won't get as much migraines and the heat they apply is really helps.
When I get a migraine my neck hurts really bad. I have found a neck brace really helps with the pain. Does any one else have this problem? Has any one else used a neck brace for this too? What else has any one tried that works?

I was just prescribed Sumatriptans, but took and Excedrin Migraine 6 hrs ago. Is it safe to take the sumatriptans? The Excedrin Migraine did not work!

No clear answer just keep trying maybe get 15% better from Botox and maybe 10% better from exercise and 5% from meditation and eventually life is livable don’t give up Good Luck

My neurologist suggested massage, chiropractor and PT on my neck and shoulders for a daily persistent headache suggesting cervicogenic/tension headache/muscular skeletal also.
I heard back from my neurosurgeon. She’s sending a PT Rx so… 🤞
