Is Daily Ibuprofen Really Dangerous?

Is Daily Ibuprofen Really Dangerous?

I have a migraine headache starting first thing in the morning every day. Some days the headache is more severe and some days not too bad. Also, some days it resolves by noon and some days lasts all day. Overall, you can see it really interferes with my daily activities activities and just general sense of well being. Ibuprofen And Hives-other OTC Options?

Ibuprofen And Hives-other OTC Options?

Hi-I went to an allergist today after my primary care physician refered me after a weekend of migraines, hives and digestive issues. She thought it might all be related to a food allergy. I found out I had a few food allergies but the main issues seems to be that ibuprofen could be giving me hives. I take ibuprofen often and I have very sensitive skin. I wonder if other people have issues with it and have other OTC painkillers for migraines.

Triptan Overuse Rebound Headaches

Triptan Overuse Rebound Headaches

What do you guys know about triptan overuse headaches?

I just learned of them from a nurse at my neurologist’s office. This had never been mentioned before by my neurologist and he prescribes me 30 rizatriptans per month and 7 frovatriptans per month, which covers my 20 migraines (if they decide to work). However, I had no idea that by taking the prescribed medication as directed, I could actually be causing more migraines. But if I don’t take them, I’m in excruciating pain and am… read more
