Aside from the upset stomach did you find them as effective as triptans or not
I have been under care with Cleveland Clinic for years and have been to their Imatch program. I'm moving on to a new neurologist hoping for another approach to treatment.
That is the only rescue med I have now...works but takes a while.
I use a Sumatran injection. It is the only thing that works for me right now. I also have gastroparesis, but didn't have any luck with the nasal spray.
it did for about a month and a half and then they came back even worse so I thought I would get the other ear done hoping it would stop but no it came even stronger with the vomiting for hours and… read more

My migraines are definitely triggered by the barometric pressure going down. It doesn't seem to bother me when it rises. I live in the Calgary, Alberta, Canada region and we have the worst BP changes in the country. Used to love the Chinooks over the mountains as it brings warmer weather but now that I have migraines, I dread them.
I get one almost every time the B. Pressure changes. If I take a ubrelvy as soon as I get the first sign of a migraine I can avoid severe pain. Just have the "dull" pain/pressure
So this may be getting a little personal...My husband and I have been talking about having a baby. Right now, it's being postponed until after I have my TMJ surgery, which I meet my surgeon this month. (so nervous) but anyways, any advice on pregnancy and migraines? How to cope, has pregnancy made yours worse? better? Anything would be greatly appreciated, I know that everyone is different, but I would love to hear from people who understand what I'm going through daily.
When I was pregnant my migraines went away. I was the healthiest I ever was. But after I gave birth things came back.
They put me on topamax 25mg eventually up to 3 times a day to help with my migraines. Has anyone else tried this? Any weird side effects?
I am on Trokendi which I have been told is the time release topamax. I have a lot of the side effects that y’all are talking about but I have just chalked it up to my other auto immune disease.
