I know there have been mixed opinions about daith piercings but I figure if it helps even a little, it would be worth it. Considering nothing else, not even Botox, has helped, I’d be ok with it if the piercing doesn't help. But I’ve read accounts of migraines getting worse or moving after a daith piercings. I’m looking for someone like me, who doesn’t get results from medication who can tell me what kind of results they got after their piercing... good or bad. I want to be informed before I… read more

I have a migraine headache starting first thing in the morning every day. Some days the headache is more severe and some days not too bad. Also, some days it resolves by noon and some days lasts all day. Overall, you can see it really interferes with my daily activities activities and just general sense of well being. Nobody wants to have a painful headache all day every day. I have found that I can reliably reduce the pain significantly by taking 2-200 mg Ibuprofen at 4:00 am and 2 high potency… read more

Excedrin and magnesium
Anyone have any info on a Daith piercing? I am considering it, but need more information.
I had it done and sad to say it didn't work. Migraines still keep coming. It works for some but not others. No magic bullet for getting rid of Migraines. It's hit or miss with medication etc.
If you take migraine medication do you sometimes feel like it wears off? I'm on several and they all seem to help for a time and then wear off.
@A MyMigraineTeam Member I hear you as feel the same way with my migraines
I'm about ready to try the Daith. How long have you had yours?
My grandson who is 15 started having complex migraines with aura what is the best treatment for him
Finding his triggers and getting enough rest and drinking lots of water helps as well.

For me, at 1-3 I feel like I could throw a party, in my head😉. 3-4 is normal tolerable, allowing me to still function. 5-6 I feel anxious, cautious and usually take medication. 7-8 I’m seeking dark, quiet and bring nausea medication on… read more
