Hello.
I am thinking about getting a daith piercing for chronic migraines. I have used just about everything all over the years. I currently take propranolol, but it seems to becoming less effective and I frequently get breakthrough migraines lasting for days.
I see a lot of people say that this pierce is very painful, just wondered if it is more painful than a helix pierce or a navel pierce, which I have had previously?
Thanks in advance. Cate
The initial piercing hurts but after that, your fine
I have heard a lot of the daith piercing. I was wondering if anyone has done it. Did it work for you? How long did it take before it work? Need pro and con's about this kind of piercing before I do it.
My cousin did and it hasn't helped her's so i haven't done it.
Does anyone here have Pesudotumor Cerebri or Intracranial Hypertension that has shunts but still has migraines? My migraines are in the back of my head and not on one side or the other, just all across the back, so which side would be best for a piercing? Iβm not looking at getting both done.
I would suggest getting both sides done! I have a Pseudo Tumor. I went to get my daiths done with a migraine and walked out with no migraine.
Anyone have any info on a Daith piercing? I am considering it, but need more information.
I had it done and sad to say it didn't work. Migraines still keep coming. It works for some but not others. No magic bullet for getting rid of Migraines. It's hit or miss with medication etc.
It really does.... I havenβt had a migraine in almost a year....
I have 2 sets of piercings for mirgraines (in both ears). Has anyone else tried this? Plus I have heard that there is a 3 type of piercing that might help.
Really? I wake up an instantly have the right side bad an I hate taking all these drugs from the dr as trial treatments....would you suggest this??
I've had my right Daith pierced from the summer 2017 if worked. Now I've severe pain in the frontal part of my head or behind my left eye and at first there was less migraines but higher intensity and pain and now it's weekly (last 4 weeks) lasting 2-4 days and the pain is almost unbearable!
i had my right side done first since that was the side that had the most frequent migraines. i used to have them pretty much daily from 15 years old to 45 years old. came back full force in my 50s. my⦠read more

Any tattoo and piercing place
I've got both and it doesn't help me
I am currently receiving Botox however this last one is not helping. I am considering the daith piercing but I keep seeing such mixed reviews. I would like to get information from others that have had it done.
They don't work for me
