Daith Piercing

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have heard a lot of the daith piercing. I was wondering if anyone has done it. Did it work for you? How long did it take before it work? Need pro and con's about this kind of piercing before I do it.

Daith Pierce

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello.
I am thinking about getting a daith piercing for chronic migraines. I have used just about everything all over the years. I currently take propranolol, but it seems to becoming less effective and I frequently get breakthrough migraines lasting for days.
I see a lot of people say that this pierce is very painful, just wondered if it is more painful than a helix pierce or a navel pierce, which I have had previously?
Thanks in advance. Cate

Daith Piercing

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone here have Pesudotumor Cerebri or Intracranial Hypertension that has shunts but still has migraines? My migraines are in the back of my head and not on one side or the other, just all across the back, so which side would be best for a piercing? I’m not looking at getting both done.

I would suggest getting both sides done! I have a Pseudo Tumor. I went to get my daiths done with a migraine and walked out with no migraine.
