I have a TENs machine. It often scares away the migraine. Not every time though. My doctor who has migraines herself says that there is no one answer. We throw everything we know at it, and hope something sticks.

Look up Dr. Rob Vanbergen. He is successfully using microcurrent in the treatment of all kinds of diseases including migraines. I am going to look into this further.

My neuro-stimulator works 80% of the time. But I have 4 leads so it's over the occipital nerves and Supra orbital nerves. Most only have the 2 leads. Mine would not be great if I only had the 2 leads over the occipital nerves. The Reed Procedure! Google it. Dr Reed is in Dallas. But I believe you can go other places. And you can do a trial first. Good luck!

@A MyMigraineTeam Member, I had a stimulator in my back with the leads going to my right temple for migraine. I had it for a couple of years, but it never really did that much good, so I had it removed and I believe that my migraines have lessened since then. My Neurologist put me on 800mg (twice daily) of magnesium and it has really helped. I also get @ Botox injections every three months. That's not to say I never get migraines, I still do, although they aren't as frequent or as severe.
