Had Ocipital Nerve Blockers Yesterday, how Have People Got On With Them?I'm Really Praying It'll Work🤞🏻
I've had 3 blocks so far over 2 1/2 years. The first one helped to calm the severity of the migraine.I was getting rebound headaches. I still get migraines but not as bad to where you pass out or throw up. The first block lasted 8 months the second block lasted 6 months & the 3rd didn't do a lot. I still get migraines but not the 10 migraines that I used to get. So for me I still get them but they're not as severe. I hope it works for you. Oh, also the blocks caused sore joints for me.
Ahh that's sucks :( sorry it didn't work for you
I've had nerve blocks on right side then both sides. I ended up with Frozen Shoulder after last block. I couldn't use my right arm and it caused excruciating pain. Nearly a month later I could use my arm more but I still can't raise my arm above shoulder without assistance of the left arm. I hope the nerve block works for you!
I've had three blocks so far. The blocks help with the really severe migraines that go to a 10. I still get some bad episodes and sometimes for 5 days but I don't get as many and they're much easier to control with Maxalt & Cambia. It's worth it for me I hope you get some relief.
I had 3 shots last year. Overall, yes it helped me. It didn't take them completely away... the frequency and intensity was reduced for me. :) I had to skip my last shot because the doctor wanted it to completely leave my system. I suffered A LOT these past two months... so, makes me think even more that the shots worked for me. Good luck!
