Interested in this answer. I was just prescribed Antidepressant for my migraines but hesitate to take. Trying all other avenues first.

I've been on nortriptyline for 20years. I now have fast heartrate, dry mouth and delayed stomach emptying (gastroparesis). I slowly got off the drug and stayed off for some time, but couldn't find any other drug that helps as much as nortriptyline does, so I'm back on it. Living with the side effects. Ugh!

I have taken many antidepressants along with migraine meds and have had no side effects other than the typical dry mouth lack of sex drive.. but the benefits have far outweighed any side effects. Are u worried of a specific side effect?
