If You Have Had The Daith Piercing Done What Is The Recovery Time Like? How Quickly Did You Notice A Difference In Your Migraines?

I am currently receiving Botox however this last one is not helping. I am considering the daith piercing but I keep seeing such mixed reviews. I would like to get information from others that have had it done.

Well all I can say is I have suffered for over 15 years. I got both mine done about 3 weeks ago. At first I was like yeah not helping. But....after about 3 days I was free from the pain of migraines. It’s only been 3 weeks and they seem healed and if I start to get a headache I turn them a bit or move them around. Best thing for me in a loooooong time!!!!!πŸ˜€

Got my right ear done just about a year ago. Not a migraine since!!! I did my right side as that was the side where I had migraines!
Go to a tattoo shop that has a professional piercer.
They use surgical steal and it's Nickle Free. Don't go to Claire's or a mall.
They hurt for a few days, but in comparison to a migraine ITS NOTHING! They can take up to a year to totally heal. I was able to change mine at 8 months.

I had my right one done and it has helped considerably. I still get headaches occasionally, but not to the degree I did before. I also found that my fibro pain is much better. I plan to have the left side done as well.

I had both sides done, because I had migraines on both sides. I had immediate relief from migraine pain! I will still have mild headaches on the some of the days that would have been major 2 day migraine! I will have some blurred vision or some of the other migraine symptoms. Very mild irritating/aggravating. My husband says it was the best money he ever spent!! Because we can make plans to do something!! My suggestion is try it. It the cheapest treatment there is! Make sure it is a reputable peircer! Not someone using a gun! It is also not going to hurt to get both done! When you feel a headache start...swival your piercing/earring!

I had my right ear pierced about six weeks ago and I've no regrets. It's not a complete cure but there's a marked improvement. It wasnt sore having it done and no pain afterwards. Have it done on the side your headaches are.
