Bright light is definitely a trigger and even when light wasn't the particular trigger when a migraine starts I often wear sunglasses indoors. I even had to put them on during church Sunday because the sunlight was glaring off of the snow on a hill across the street from our church. The window it was coming in was on the other side of the sanctuary and just barely in my peripheral vision, that was an unwelcome first. I wear sunglasses outside most of the time now too, ever since I had cataract… read more

I continue to be glad I got these, sometimes I realize a migraine is sneaking up on me when I notice I'm squinting because the lights are starting to bother me. It's amazing how quickly I start to feel better when I put my glasses on.

I have Thera Specs. I wear them with dark RX glasses.I have to wear both sets of dark glasses and sometimes 2 hats at church. 24 light bulbs in Sanctuary. I forget where my inside ones are most of the time but they do help indoors. Yes, they are expensive. I look at it as part of my medical deductions. The $20. Solar Shields work well also not the grey but the amber, I call them my "Rose colored glasses like the song. (:

I just use 10 dollar fishing sunglasses from walmart. You can find computer glasses on amazon for 10 also. There is a blue light filter on your computer and phone in the display settings.

I have my indoor and my outdoor, over prescription Theraspecs and they have been lifesavers for me. I use mine all the time, indoors and out, especially when I am on the computer for any length of time, or driving, or gardening, or........watching TV etc. There are other brands but this one works for me
