I got the @piercing in my right ear about 4-5 years ago now. I had been having extreme migraines since middle school. Full blown light and sound sensitivity, dizziness when standing, severe pain behind my eyes radiating through my entire head , even down my neck. I would have to be taken to the hospital and given morphine shots to settle my head because 800 mg @ibuprofen , @advil, alive, even excedrin migraine and extra strength wouldn't cure it. In the 4-5 years I maybe have had 3- 4 badā€¦ read more

šŸ¤”not true... I'm a piercer here in Philadelphia PA we have nerves throughout our entire body not just the left side... your faith should be done on the side you have the migraine on the most...if all over the head then both sides would be ideal

Depending on the size of the hearing aid and where they are located this should not cause any issue. Find a good reputable peircer and they will walk you through the whole process.

Ive been toying with the idea for yšŸ˜»ears. I find that applying pressure manually can help.
Not always, but many times manual pressure does help me.
Also, has anyone felt a rushing sensation in your head and ears? It can be accelerated if I try to ignore it and keep pushing.

If you have felt the flush and dizzyness in your head, eyes and/or ears, how did you address it?

I was diagnosed at age 7 with migraines. Told theyā€™d get better at puberty. Nope. Then told theyā€™d getter better at child-bearing; then menopause. Have had every med under the sun and at 57, got a Daith in both ears. As an older woman who has suffered more than 20+ migraines per month ~ I havenā€™t had ANYTHING in five months. Running a stressful small biz, and the world is bright again. Hoping this continues to work. Be SURE to have a great acupuncturist before doing this. It was acupuncture that ultimately led me to trust this may work. So far, so good. Iā€™m not one to be a ā€œplaceboā€ person, at this point, donā€™t care if thatā€™s the case. Iā€™m migraine-free. Let this post not jinx it!!
