Daith Piercing and menstrual migraines question

I've been thinking about getting the piercing to help with my migraines. I have menstrual migraines mostly but mine seems to be turning into chronic migraines, I get them PMS, menstrating and ovulating. Allergies and heat are triggers also but mostly menstrual. I've heard the piercing doesn't work for menstrual migraines, is there anyone with them both and it helps?
