Thank you, but I don't do Facebook. Good luck on this dreadful journey.

Are any of you seeing a certified head ache specialist, one who has taken the training and certification and has been approved by the National Migraine Foundation as being a headache specialist? Have you been offerd the new CGRP drugs that target the CGRP protein that seems to be the culprit in causing many migraines? Talk to your doctor about this. There are hundreds of new treatments out there both drug and non drug. Has your doctor talked with you about neuro modulation devices. The docs that I listened to on the recent migraine world summit are the docs you should be going to if your doc is not a certified headache specialist. Check into purchasing the summit package which includes all of the lectures and tons of bonus info. on migraines, including migraine resources. I get headaches or migraines without aura on the weekends. I take Sumatriptan but I may see if I can switch to the new GPAN or Ditan drugs which have less side effects and won't cause headache rebound. Look up Mirgaine World Summit and see if you can still purchase the package. I did not purchase the package but did take lots of notes and wrote down the headache specialist who gave lectures on the Summit and where they practice. These docs are up on all of the latest treatments and work with the worst of of the worse situations with migraines.

I have migraines everyday 7 x 24. It goes from a level to 10 max. Doctors are just experimenting my situation. What did alleviate the levels, were changing my eating habits. For ex: cut back on caffeine & chocolate. I did eat dark or carob (my head would be pounding to no end). Eat allot of greens and drink peppermint tea. Cut out the fast foods. This is just to mention a few. I did read allot about foods but not everyone is the same.. You will have to play with it.

I have a headache every second of every day, and some turn in to migraines. I can relate for sure. What do you take for your normal headaches?
