I seem to always have a stiff neck but it doesn't always lead to a headache. I'm constantly rubbing and stretching my neck to try to get relief but nothing works. I feel like I'm having lots of problems even after I've made significant progress with my treatment. Does this happen to anyone else?
I was born into a family suffering with migraines. That was my mother, father, and 4 children. My nephews also get migraines. My siblings and I are still suffering from them in our senior years. All of us suffer from neck pain. I do exercises for it and weight training. It helps. Meditation also helps a lot. I wish you the best on your surgery.
I had the neck surgery. Neck feels good but I still have the headache. Chiro just made me more dizzy.
I have mod to severe degenerative disc disease and was in a bad car wreck with severe neck pain resulting. I have lots of back pain issues probably from years of banging around in the biggest moguls I could find skiing and then working as a nurse in the ER. Had to do lots of moving patients on and off guerneys etc. And I was only 5’1”. Now I’m 4’10 1/2”. What helps me the most is massage and a concoction I mix of Voltaren cream, generic aspercream from Walgreens Pharmacy ie trolamine salicylate,Arnica, and a cream from Walgreens again called “Oain Relieving Cream + Lidocaine” 😂😂😂🙄🙄. The steroid in Voltaren takes a while to begin helping like steroids do but the others help in the meantime. Its helped me keep skiing! When it wore off, time to go home.
