When I got nurtec approved for everyday as prevention, it did not work for me. Very strange, but that’s how migraines are for me. Nurtec as an abortive will usually help me.

i take nurtec every other day. started 2 months ago. still have daily headaches at the same time daily but not as bad. had 1st Botox injection. helps tone down symptoms. my doc urges a duo of preventatives. i also take tylenol for pain intervention. it stops my migraine.

I have been using nurtec now for 2 years. The effectiveness has definitely wore off. I definitely doesnt get rid of my headache once it starts. When i first started to take it, it did, i loved it. Im going back to my neurologist soon to find something else.

What regime? Botox gave me back my life! I still get them, but they are 30-50% better. It’s hit or miss. I still have to fight. I watch my foods, rest, and avoid stress. I have retired due to migraines. I’m still genetic and does have environmental triggers. Botox hurts but hurts more without it!

I have this same regimen. So it builds in your body? I take every other day as of today. I had a headache my very first day of taking. Starting Botox with it soon. What type of migraines do you have, Iona?
