A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

The day after the migraine breaks is almost as bad as the migraine itself.

I take Aleve and sometimes I even need to take lorazepam. I also recently found that liquid IV helps.

It's like an echo or a aftershock so at least the worst is over with. Unless you have overlapping migraines which may be the case and actually with enough induced anxiety might actually this hangover come to be.

I suggest mental preparation, console in knowing there is a good chance of having a bad day after a migraine, but it's not 100%.
Unfortunately we don't have the luxury of a normal life and setting dates and times perfectly, due to our diagnosis - if we can look at the brighter side, we don't HAVE to do some things that are everyday contrivances. Be a bit more carefree, practice your balance when feeling well, even dance lightly. We are not half as bad off as we feel when a migraine strikes.
