I had physical therapy in the past, but not for migraines. I think you should ask your doctor.
I have done physical therapy twice. Mainly they tell me they are just addressing the symptoms and cannot find the root cause. More recently I have been diagnosed with issues in the C4 to C7 cervical areas. PT has been mentioned as a potential to resolve neck pain from this, that leads to migraine. Everyone is different so I would recommend trying it to see if it helps in your particular case.
I have had nerve blocks and Botox. Neither one helped me either sadly 😢 just made it worse 😕
I did nerve blocks so bad I had to be put under to be able to tolerate the needles. With all of that, it didn't work for me
Hi. I have not done physical therapy for migraines directly.
I have had nerve blocks several times. My neurologist will do them for me every couple months or so if I need them. It’s certainly helpful and quite a relief. While it doesn’t last for long periods of time, I always welcome the shift away from the pain while it’s there.
