What I am curious on, is there anyone that has used such logging to assist in tracking hydration to benefit the flow of migraines?
I go through a severity of migraines taking place frequently so it is the hope by doing this tracking of hydration over time there will be benefit as I've seen many research articles saying how hydration is a benefit to those who experience chronic migraines. I'm keeping a log on this activity and will be providing the activity to my pain specialist.
every doctor is different. I have worked with epilepsy specialists over the years that know my migraine situation and I have always been directed to see someone in pain management as they would know how to best manage my nerve situation. Each person has different issues, the best I can say on that is to ask a lot of questions if you don't feel you're getting the right answers.
I have multiple health issues along with the migraines (it's a long list) taking place so decided to go with what I mentioned as it covered all health matters. Trying to do this one step at a time and this was the best way for me to begin taking the matter of staying hydrated.
I use the MigraineBuddy app to track all my migraines. It tracks your migraine including when it begins/stops, pain locations, medications, pain intensity, symptoms, and much more. There's also a notes section that you could utilize for hydration. It will also provide you with insights and reports to help you determine your triggers. It's very helpful to me. Saves me a lot of time. I highly recommend it!!
This is great advice, SueElf. Yes, please ask a lot of questions.
@A MyMigraineTeam Member, ah, gotcha! Either way, I'm sure it will be very helpful for you & your headache specialist. Good Luck!
I hate drinking water but I know that it helps with migraines. Any ideas to get me hydrating better?
