I have daily headaches mostly in the back of my head. But they do migrate up around once in a while. I have been told I have octipetal neuralgia, yet the shots in the back of my head did not work. I know I have a lot of cervical going's on. Military neck and a lot of arthritis. I just wish that I could find a doctor or a specialist that would take interest in me long enough to say, let's figure this out. That's pretty much why I came here because I need help from the grassroots on up.

Who diagnosed you? What have you done so far regarding trying to get a diagnosis?
What shots did you get? Have you gotten any brain or neck scans? You can have white matter that reflects migraine pattern. Complex migraine is very difficult. That’s what I have and hemiplegic migraines but so much had to be ruled out before definitive diagnosis
Mine are always on the left with tingling and I get spacey and nauseous. I used to only get tingling and spaciness but no headaches. Now I get it all and I’ve had headaches every day since early September.
You may have already done these but;
General neurologist

Epilepsy doctor
Optho Neurologist
Sometimes a good PT will know about this if it’s connected to neck
Get brain and c spine scans. You can also ask for scan of optical nerves.
Try a medication that aborts migraines like Nurtec.
Don’t give up. Relief is somewhere
I know what has really helped me is I found a great Chiropractor. Most migraines start in the back of your neck. I was amazed when I went in and told him about my migraines. He felt the back of my neck and very gently manipulated my neck very little pressure. Headache was gone . I did have to go twice a week for awhile but now I go 1 a month. Hope that helps
