Daith piercing

Daith piercing

I have heard a lot of the daith piercing. I was wondering if anyone has done it. Did it work for you? How long did it take before it work? Need pro and con's about this kind of piercing before I do it.

Pros. Less frequent/intense migraines and headaches. When you do get headaches just gently twist, spin or press on the jewelry and it goes away quickly.

Cons. It takes 4- 6 months to heal completely and is difficult to change out yourself.

I have had the daith piercings in the past. I had both done the same day. It was a miracle work for me. I had a migraine when I went in to get them done. It took the pain away right away. Any time I got a migraine, I just either gave a gentle pull or twisted the piercings gently. It worked the whole time I had them, but my sugar kept causing infection in them.

I have a faith piercing. It helps quite a bit. I had to remove it for a MRI 2 weeks ago and have not been able to get it back in.

It worked for me. I was leery at first also. One side will seem to hurt more than the other. The pain will last about a week from having it done. Mostly because you lay on it at night. A good tattoo and piercing place will do it right. They put the hole through the cartilage then insert the stud or hoop. Don’t Don’t don’t try to change it yourself. Go back to them. They will do it for you. The first couple migraines I had after I got mine were less severe and each one since is lighter and they are getting further apart. The only real con is the pain for a few days.
