Members shared deeply mixed experiences with daith piercings for migraine relief, with many reporting dramatic improvements ranging from instant relief during the piercing itself to months or years of reduced frequency and severity, while others found no benefit at all or only temporary relief before migraines returned. Several members offered practical guidance, including getting the piercing on the side where migraines occur most, ensuring the piercer knows the correct acupuncture point rather than piercing for aesthetics alone, using titanium jewelry for those needing MRIs, allowing 6-12 months for healing, and trying acupuncture first to test whether stimulating that pressure point helps. A recurring theme was cautious optimism, with many members emphasizing that results vary widely from person to person, but given the relatively low cost and the potential for life-changing relief, most felt it was worth trying even if it only provided a cool piercing in the end.

I have Both of mine pierced and it does give me sooo relief. I find myself fiddling around with them when I’m having a migraine so that it kinda opens up the piercing a bit. I made sure to get Titanium hoops placed in my Daith because I’m in MRI’s several times a year & I have trouble getting them out. The titanium ones can stay in.

I have chronic migraines and hoped that the daith piercing would work. I didn’t. Takes a long time to heal also.

Next year we'll all see a difference. There is a new treatment coming out..its an injection self administered. It's done once a month. The first new treatment for migraine for 20 years. Good luck to all of us.
