April4 I feel so sorry for you and your situation. Can you change anything? I didn't start nursing school til I was 34. I did telecourses and anything I could to reach my goal. I went thru summer, fall, winter and spring. I just kept going. I needed to support myself and 5 children. I would do it again if I had to. Maybe just a few classes at a community college in something you can relate to. I ended up in a car crash and broke my pelvis into a few pieces. I found I really liked being with the public. I found my niche. You would be in public. and around people . It sounds like you're drowning. Keep your head up and you'll find something. Wishing you the best.
I hear you Sue what I described was a one time thing and I am on Ubelvry and preventers and I am going to see my Migraine Specialist Neurologist about talking about Botox because I am starting back on getting 25 migraine days a month again.
April Hi! I'm glad you got a job coach. I don't know much about them. Since you are having migraines so bad I don't know how much you can take of talking to people nonstop. That is up to you to decide. My husband finally got his disability thru using DAM (Disability Attorneys of Michigan). We didn't have to pay anything up front. Maybe your state has something like that. I sure hope you're getting your migraines under control. I know a lot of people laugh at the thought of just cause you have a little headache. Hopefully those people don't get migraines. Then they'd know how it disrupts your life. Let's cross our fingers and help you get relief and a job. Brenda
April4 How's the disability going? I sure hope it moves thru fast. What do you do for a living? Wishing you a good weekend.
PatriciaThomas2 I hope you're all moved in and settled. I know how exciting it is to move and get acquainted with others. Make sure you do get enough sleep and rest in between. Have a good weekend.
