Do you have access to one? I'm guessing if you did, you would say so. I believe, as said above, that you need to be treated separately by neurology and, potentially, psychiatry. In my case, there is a… read more
I am to the point that I am having to take Imetrex daily just to function. I have tried to go without it but the most I can go is three days before I have to finally give in and take it. I am concerned as to what it may be doing to my heart. I take the "Reddy" brand through CVS which does not seem to work as well as the name brand. Also, each time I take an Imetrex I have to chase it with two Tylenol or Advil.
Hi Kristyl
Sorry to hear about your challenges getting triptans. In the short term yes you can get triptans shipped to you from overseas, but it is a grey area and you have to find a willing shipper… read more
3 days in bed and not any better. Not sure what to do.
I hope you do as well! Both of my parents had terrible migraines. My Dad had cluster type while my Mom had Chronic Migraine. I have tried B-2 and it didn't do much but upset my stomach. I also have… read more
I ask because I know some doctors and insurance companies put a limit on the number so that daily use is not possible although it would benefit for many with daily migraine.
thanks Diane. We look forward to hearing how the CBD tablets worked
What do you guys know about triptan overuse headaches?
I just learned of them from a nurse at my neurologist’s office. This had never been mentioned before by my neurologist and he prescribes me 30 rizatriptans per month and 7 frovatriptans per month, which covers my 20 migraines (if they decide to work). However, I had no idea that by taking the prescribed medication as directed, I could actually be causing more migraines. But if I don’t take them, I’m in excruciating pain and am… read more

Hello, Avlady ~ I realize this is well after the fact; however, am interested in Kermit... If you have a minute, would you provide direction? Thank you and stay well ~ :-)
Bright light is definitely a trigger and even when light wasn't the particular trigger when a migraine starts I often wear sunglasses indoors. I even had to put them on during church Sunday because the sunlight was glaring off of the snow on a hill across the street from our church. The window it was coming in was on the other side of the sanctuary and just barely in my peripheral vision, that was an unwelcome first. I wear sunglasses outside most of the time now too, ever since I had cataract… read more
I've had mine for over 2 years now and some days they are the only reason I am able to go outside. Great customer service with quick response.
Hello.
I am thinking about getting a daith piercing for chronic migraines. I have used just about everything all over the years. I currently take propranolol, but it seems to becoming less effective and I frequently get breakthrough migraines lasting for days.
I see a lot of people say that this pierce is very painful, just wondered if it is more painful than a helix pierce or a navel pierce, which I have had previously?
Thanks in advance. Cate
Mine was agony 😠And did nothing for my migraines 😠I was so disappointed 😢 Looks like I’m destined to be like my Father and have lifelong migraines 😠I just take diazapham which my doctor prescribes… read more
