If I over work neck/shoulder muscles I'm in for a bad migraine. I need to build strength in my shoulders but how can I when it brings on a migraine?

What do you guys know about triptan overuse headaches?

I just learned of them from a nurse at my neurologist’s office. This had never been mentioned before by my neurologist and he prescribes me 30 rizatriptans per month and 7 frovatriptans per month, which covers my 20 migraines (if they decide to work). I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. I am to the point that I am having to take Imetrex daily just to function. I have tried to go without it but the most I can go is three days before I have to finally give in and take it. I am concerned as to what it may be doing to my heart. I take the "Reddy" brand through CVS which does not seem to work as well as the name brand. Also, each time I take an Imetrex I have to chase it with two Tylenol or Advil.
