I smell gasoline every time someone mows their lawn and it makes me feel like I’m suffocating. I hate that smell. I’m also allergic to grass, and trees, and pollen just to name a few…lol

Yes it does go with migraines although phantom smells are always present with migraines, although I know for some it is a sign that a migraine is about to hit and if you already have a migraine it will increase in intensity.

Yes, experiencing phantom smells can be related to migraines. Many people with migraines develop a heightened sense of smell, which can make them extremely sensitive to various odors. Some MyMigraineTeam members have reported that their sense of smell becomes increasingly strong over time, making them sensitive to perfumes, exhaust fumes, smoke, and chemicals. Strong smells can also act as migraine triggers. One MyMigraineTeam member shared that even brief exposure to gasoline smells triggered a migraine attack, but they felt better once they were away from the smell. If you're experiencing phantom smells or increased smell sensitivity, it's worth tracking these episodes alongside your migraine symptoms to identify any patterns.

Yup, usually smoke related smells. Cigarette, burning toast, soldering paper. Occasional an undescribable with ammonia like over tones. The link below provides back ground oh the phenomenon.
