Have been using Ajovy 2021 and it's been working quite well. I have been going through severe chronic migraines every so often due to a surgery after effect that I need to work with. Between the Botox and Ajovy the migraines have been managable but having added Ubrelvy into the mix is a blessing.
I take Ajovy every 28 days and from what I can recall it was not until after the fourth injection that I began to notice a larger decrease to the migraine activity.

Show Full Answerwhen I first tried Vyepti the administering nurse said it takes 3 times to be effective. That was BIG news to me, and had not heard that from the doc. If fact he was puzzled when I repeated the comment to him. It seems like I took it 4 times and still was not well, until I combined it with Xeomin (a form of Botox). Within two weeks of that, I was finally better.
Btw, my strong impression from the neuro is that Vyepti is the biggest gun to bring to the battle.
I used Ajovy in the past. It helped in the short term, but then nothing. I still get 4-5 migraines a week. I'm lucky if I go a day without a migraine.
