Hi everyone! I have been dealing with Chronic migraines sine my 20's. The Neurologist has me on Zonisamide and increased the dosage but it is not working. I have migraines pret thg much every day and miss work also i am on FMLA at work. I was thinking about trying Aimovig. Has anyone tried this and what experience did you have. Also what about Botox? I am scared to try it.

Do you find yourself yawning before or during a migraine? I noticed I seemed to be yawning a lot last night during my migraine and wondered if this was a coincedence or something to do with the migraine?

My neurologist wants me to see a neurosurgeon for my neck. Ask me if I'm scared!!!!

I was diagnosed with chronic migraines about 2 and a half months ago. I have tried 4 different preventives and 4 different onsets. Nothing is working for me. I might have to quit my job soon as all I can do most days is lay in bed. I finally saw a neurologist and am now on trazadone which is supposed to help with the depression/sleep and also work as a preventative. And he gave me ubrevely for an onset. Every month when I take my Aimovig inj for the first week it seems that I have terrible migraines and then I'm better. Anyone else!? And yes... barometric/environmental systems reek havoc on my headaches also. When
weather is nice, not too hot, not too humid, just right I feel pretty good. But I also can tell way beforehand when rain is coming, or heat w/humidity,etc. too cold 🥶❄️, etc. I have Fibromyalgia too. The two seem to go hand in hand unfortunately!
